Who am I & what defines me?

Originally from Ireland, I have spent the past 10 years living and working in the United Arab Emirates. In that time I have been fortunate enough to work with some of the leading brands and organisations in the Middle East, helping them elevate their profiles and amplify their messages. .

I am a firm believer that effective communication starts with good storytelling. Storytelling is at the heart of everything I do, and I relish the challenge of finding new creative ways to portray ideas, news, and shared experiences that evoke powerful emotions and insights.

I believe one of the key competencies of successful leadership is the cultivation of positive and healthy relationships. These relationships, in turn, create a safe and supportive environment which fosters trust, communication, reflection, and growth.

I consider myself a problem solver and use a design thinking methodology in the way I approach a new brief. To me, design thinking is a framework for ingenuity. It can generate exciting new ideas, leading to solutions that address unmet needs. Design thinking positions the audience as the main focal point of consideration for any solution. It consistently applies the values embraced by this approach, such as empathy, diversity, and ambiguity, as well as recognising the importance of multidisciplinary teams. By bringing multidisciplinary teams together at the table, we leverage the power of collective expertise.

When applied to communication, design thinking can transform the way we navigate and engage with our audience; gain their attention and active participation in our narrative.
